NaCCA Honoured at Lead For Ghana’s 10th Anniversary Awards

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has been recognised for its outstanding contributions to education at the 10th Anniversary Awards and Fundraising Gala organised by Lead For Ghana. Held on 16th November 2024 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, the event celebrated a decade of transformative work in education, highlighting organisations and individuals making significant impacts.

NaCCA received the Public Sector Partnership Award in recognition of its exceptional collaboration, support, and contributions to the development of national education standards and curriculum development. This award highlights NaCCA’s efforts in advancing curriculum development and creating transformative learning experiences for Ghanaian learners.

The Director-General of NaCCA, Prof. Yayra Dzakadzie, accepted the award on behalf of the institution.  He expressed deep gratitude to Lead For Ghana for acknowledging the hard work and impact of the NaCCA team. Prof. Dzakadzie emphasized that the council remains steadfast in its mission to deliver a curriculum that prepares learners for the challenges of the modern world while maintaining Ghanaian cultural values. He stated that the award affirmed the power of collaboration in education and inspired them to continue ensuring that every learner had access to an education that empowered them to thrive.

Prof. Dzakadzie also took the opportunity to commend the dedication and expertise of the NaCCA team, whose relentless efforts have been instrumental in shaping the nation’s education system. Joining him at the event were Madam Joana Vanderpuije, Director of the Instructional Resources Directorate, and Madam Rebecca Abu Gariba, Director of Corporate Affairs.
