The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has engaged the Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) and SHS Alumni Association of Ghana on the draft Secondary Education (SE) Curriculum. The event was held at AH Hotel, on the 22nd of February 2023. Facilitating the programme were the Director-General of NaCCA, Prof Edward Appiah, Prof. Eric Daniel Ananga, (Curriculum Advisor to NaCCA), and Akwasi Addae-Boahene, (Chief Technical Advisor, T-TEL)
Discussions centered on the design, structure, and content of the draft SHS Curriculum. The Associations made suggestions and recommendations for NaCCA’s consideration in finalising the draft SHS Curriculum, and to support implementation efforts. The engagement also highlighted the proposed changes with the draft SHS Curriculum, and the innovations were roundly lauded.
