Curriculum Development Directorate

The Curriculum Development Directorate performs the following functions:

1. Coordinate the processes of curriculum development.
2. Determine appointment criteria and conditions for the recruitment of syllabus panel members.
3. Establish the periods and duration for curriculum review and the sample size for trial testing of various subjects.
4. Prepare guidelines for period allocations per subject.
5. Conduct analysis and establish the linkages between tertiary and pre-tertiary education.
6. Responsible for the orientation and training of teachers in the use of the curriculum.
