Building on Phase 1 of the Fidelity of Implementation (FOI) activities under the Communities of Excellence Programme (CEP), the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) continued its regional engagement with two impactful dissemination workshops in Takoradi 22nd July and Accra 24th July 2025. The events brought together key stakeholders to reflect, learn, and strengthen CEP implementation at the community level.
The workshops drew participation from prominent stakeholders, including the Deputy Director-General of NaCCA, the Deputy Executive Director of the Complementary Education Agency (CEA), Regional and District Directors of Education, School Management Committee (SMC) members, headteachers, and teachers.
Participants were taken through key FOI findings, offering insights into the current status of CEP implementation. The sessions featured focused group breakouts where stakeholders shared their local experiences, challenges, and success stories. These discussions culminated in a dynamic plenary session, during which participants proposed actionable recommendations to enhance the quality, fidelity, and consistency of CEP delivery across the Southern Zone.
The workshops showcased strong stakeholder engagement and reaffirmed a collective commitment to improving educational outcomes at the community level. Feedback indicated that the FOI dissemination not only served as a mechanism for accountability but also provided a valuable platform for aligning local implementation efforts with national programme expectations.
