To approve teaching and learning materials that align with the curriculum standards to ensure Ghana’s children are lifelong learners with heightened sense of national identity and global citizenship.
VISION
Promoting standardized instructional resources for quality educational provision for all Ghana’s children.
This development finds expression in the improvement of quality teaching and learning materials through meticulous assessment, reviewing and approval process to ensure alignment with national curriculum standards.
Functions
- Acquisition, development and management of instructional resources.
- Development of guidelines, processes and procedures for the development and assessment of instructional resources.
- Monitoring the impact of instructional resources.
- Development and Review of textbooks and other instructional resources supply and distribution policy.
- Assessment and Approval of textbooks and other instructional resources.
